Beginners jewellery making - do you have an interest in making your own jewellery or in repairing broken jewellery? In this beginners class you will learn about the different tools, materials and techniques that will let you create your own unique jewellery designs and to carry out simple repairs or reconstruction of damaged items. We will use tigertail, basic components such as jumprings and eye/headpins as well as wire and a wide range of beads, pendants, charms and findings. The classes will provide you with basic kit of materials, clear instructions, useful hints and tips as well as practical demonstrations and ideasĀ  - all in a friendly atmosphere with an experienced tutor. Additional materials required can be purchased using a materials list given on week 1, from local craft suppliers, from the tutor or from recommended websites.

Advanced jewellery making - have you some knowledge of jewellery making techniques? If you would like to develop your skills and knowledge further, this class offers you design ideas, useful information on suppliers, websites, courses and books as well as practical help in designing and constructing unique jewellery using a wide variety of materials. In these classes, students will learn more complex tigertail/Beadalon techniques, wireworking, bead weaving and bead making. A kit of basic materials will be provided and additional materials can be purchased from the tutor or from recommended online sites or local stores.
